03 Data We Collect
btrpkr collects the minimum data necessary to operate the Site effectively. The categories of data we may collect are as follows:
3.1 Data You Provide Directly
- Contact or support enquiries: If you contact us — for example, by emailing our support address — we may collect your name, email address and the content of your message.
- Feedback submissions: Any information you voluntarily provide when submitting feedback or comments via the Site.
3.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Log data: When you visit the Site, our web servers may automatically record your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited and timestamps.
- Device data: Information about the device you use to access the Site, including device type, screen resolution and language settings.
- Usage data: How you interact with the Site — pages viewed, time spent, navigation paths and click events — collected in aggregate or pseudonymised form via analytics tools.
- Cookie data: Data stored through cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 8.
3.3 Data We Do Not Collect
btrpkr does not collect financial data, payment card numbers, bank account details, wallet credentials (including Easypaisa, JazzCash or Raast account information), national identity numbers (CNIC), passport numbers or any special-category data (such as health information or biometric data). We are not a gambling operator and have no systems to process deposits, wagers or withdrawals.
04 How We Collect Data
We collect Personal Data through the following means:
- Direct interaction: When you voluntarily contact us by email or submit a query through any contact mechanism on the Site.
- Automated technologies: As you navigate the Site, we automatically collect technical and usage data through server logs, cookies and, where deployed, third-party analytics scripts. See Section 8 for details.
- Third-party sources: We may receive Aggregate Data about Site traffic and user behaviour from analytics providers. We do not receive Personal Data about you from third-party operators, payment providers or social media platforms unless you expressly provide it.
05 Data Processing — Purposes of Use
We process Personal Data only for the purposes set out below. We do not use your data for any purpose incompatible with those stated here without first notifying you and, where required, obtaining your consent.
| Purpose | Data Used | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Delivering and maintaining the Site | Log data, device data, cookie data | Legitimate interest |
| Responding to support or contact enquiries | Name, email, message content | Contractual necessity / legitimate interest |
| Analysing and improving Site content and performance | Usage data, Aggregate Data | Legitimate interest |
| Complying with legal obligations | Any data relevant to a legal obligation | Legal obligation |
| Detecting and preventing fraudulent or abusive activity | Log data, IP address, device data | Legitimate interest |
06 Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable data protection law requires us to identify a legal basis for Processing Personal Data, we rely on the following:
- Consent: Where you have given clear and informed consent to a specific Processing activity — for example, accepting non-essential cookies.
- Contractual necessity: Where Processing is necessary to fulfil an agreement with you, such as responding to a direct enquiry.
- Legitimate interests: Where Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests — such as operating and securing the Site, analysing aggregate usage patterns to improve content quality, and preventing fraud — provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Legal obligation: Where Processing is required to comply with a legal obligation applicable to btrpkr.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we carry out a balancing assessment to ensure those interests do not outweigh your data protection rights. You may request details of any such assessment by contacting us at the address in Section 15.
07 Data Sharing and Disclosure
btrpkr does not sell, rent or trade your Personal Data to any third party. We may share Personal Data in the following limited circumstances only:
7.1 Service Providers (Data Processors)
We engage trusted third-party service providers to assist with site hosting, analytics and technical infrastructure. These providers act only as Data Processors under our instructions, are bound by data-processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
7.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose Personal Data where required by law, court order or the direction of a competent regulatory authority — including, where applicable, Pakistani authorities. We will, where legally permissible, notify affected Users before making such a disclosure.
7.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our assets, Personal Data held by btrpkr may be transferred to the relevant successor entity. We will provide notice of any such transfer and the privacy commitments that will continue to apply.
7.4 Aggregated or Anonymised Data
We may share Aggregate Data — statistical information from which individual Users cannot be identified — with partners, advertisers or in published reports. This does not constitute sharing of Personal Data.
09 Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Our general retention principles are:
- Support and contact enquiry records: Retained for up to 24 months from the date of the enquiry, or such longer period as may be required by a legal obligation.
- Server log and technical data: Typically retained for up to 12 months from collection, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
- Analytics and aggregate data: Retained in anonymised form indefinitely for statistical purposes, as it does not constitute Personal Data once anonymised.
- Cookie data: Duration varies by cookie type — session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies expire on the date specified in the cookie itself.
Upon expiry of a retention period, Personal Data is securely deleted or anonymised. You may request early deletion of your data as described in Section 10.
10 Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights in respect of your Personal Data held by btrpkr. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within 30 days; in complex cases we may extend this by a further 30 days with notice.
Request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you and information about how we use it.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data held about you.
Request deletion of your Personal Data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose collected, or where you withdraw consent and no other legal basis applies.
Request that we limit the Processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances — for example, while you contest its accuracy.
Receive a copy of Personal Data you have provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, have it transmitted to another controller.
Object to Processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing at any time. We will cease such Processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
Where Processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of Processing carried out before withdrawal.
If you believe we have mishandled your Personal Data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. We ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
We will not charge a fee for handling a rights request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a reasonable administrative fee or decline to act on the request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11 Children's Privacy
The Site is intended solely for adults. Access is restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, or such higher minimum age as may be required by the applicable operator or license jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 18.
If we become aware that Personal Data has been collected from a user under the applicable minimum age, we will promptly take steps to delete that data from our systems. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided Personal Data to us, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 15.
12 Data Security
btrpkr implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration or disclosure. These measures include:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and the Site.
- Access controls restricting Personal Data to authorised personnel who need it to perform their role.
- Regular review of security practices and infrastructure configurations.
- Third-party service providers who are required to maintain equivalent security standards under contractual obligations.
No method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we apply robust measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, we will notify you without undue delay in accordance with applicable law.
If you suspect any unauthorised use of your data in connection with the Site, please contact us immediately at [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link).
13 International Data Transfers
btrpkr's infrastructure and third-party service providers may process data in countries outside of Pakistan. Where Personal Data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure that an adequate level of protection is applied, which may include:
- Transferring to countries recognised as providing adequate data protection by relevant supervisory authorities.
- Implementing contractual clauses with processors that impose equivalent data protection obligations.
- Applying other appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
By using this Site, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries outside Pakistan. We will always apply the standards described in this Policy regardless of where Processing takes place.
14 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, legal obligations or Site functionality. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a prominent notice on the Site.
We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site following the publication of an updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with any change, you should cease using the Site.
